fibrosarcoma (fibroblastic sarcoma): A malignant tumor derived from fibrous connective tissue. A form of spindle cell carcinoma that is not leiomyosarcoma.

intestinal leiomyosarcomas: Mesenchymal tumors of smooth muscle origin.

intra-abdominal leiomyosarcoma: Located in the retroperitoneum, mesentery and omentum. These are large lesions and often unresectable.
